Wyoming Sports Betting Age

The legal minimum age for sports betting in Wyoming is 18 years old, set by the Online Sports Wagering Act (HB 133, 2021). This makes Wyoming one of only a handful of U.S. states where 18- to 20-year-olds can legally place wagers.

What the law says

Wyoming Statute Title 9, Chapter 24 (the Online Sports Wagering Act) sets the minimum age to place a sports wager in Wyoming at 18. There is no provision to raise the age for specific markets or events. The 18+ rule applies equally to:

  • Professional sports, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, UFC, PGA Tour, etc.
  • College sports, including the Wyoming Cowboys and other NCAA teams.
  • International sports, Premier League soccer, ATP/WTA tennis, international golf.
  • All bet types, moneyline, spread, totals, parlays, futures, props, live betting.

Operator age policies

While Wyoming law permits 18+, some individual sportsbooks require users to be 21+ as a matter of internal policy, even when operating in states where 18 is the legal minimum. This varies by operator and can change. As of 2026, all five Wyoming-licensed books accept 18+ accounts in Wyoming:
