DraftKings Wyoming Review
The default choice for most Wyoming bettors, deepest markets, cleanest app, first operator live in the state.
The short version
DraftKings was the first operator to go live when Wyoming sports betting launched on September 1, 2021, alongside BetMGM. Four-plus years later it remains the most-used sportsbook in the state and the default recommendation for first-time Wyoming bettors. The app has won Apple and Google awards; the market catalog on a Broncos-Chiefs Sunday is 900+ wagers deep; and withdrawal reliability is among the best in the industry.
The two knocks: pricing on NFL sides is a shade tighter than FanDuel (meaning DK shaves slightly off your long-term edge), and the promo fine print has grown more restrictive in 2025-2026. If you bet mostly NFL sides, consider pairing DraftKings with one other book for line-shopping.
Welcome offer breakdown
New Wyoming customers get Bet $5, Get $200 in Bonus Bets when their first cash wager settles. The mechanics:
- Deposit at least $5. $5 minimum, but any amount $5+ triggers the offer when you place your first bet.
- Place a qualifying wager of $5 or more. Minimum odds -10000 (very low bar, almost any market qualifies).
- Bonus bets credit after settlement. Typically $200 total, split into 8 × $25 bonus bets.
- Bonus bets expire after 7 days. Stake is not returned on a winning bonus bet, only the profit.
The key asymmetry: you keep the $200 in bonus bets regardless of whether your first $5 wins or loses, so the expected value is near-automatic for anyone planning to bet anyway. Only the original $5 is at risk.
App & product
DraftKings' iOS and Android apps are the benchmark for the U.S. market. Bet-slip latency is consistently under 200ms in our testing, live-betting odds refresh every 1-2 seconds, and the Same Game Parlay builder has the widest combine-ability in the state (player props + team markets + alternate lines on the same game).
Unique product features worth calling out:
- Flash Bets, 30-second micro-markets during NFL and NBA games (next drive result, next possession outcome).
- Progressive parlays, multi-leg parlays that pay partial credit if one leg loses.
- Pulse betting, auto-generated prop combos based on your recent betting patterns.
- Stats Hub, embedded team/player trend data without leaving the app.
Market coverage
DraftKings offers the deepest market catalog in Wyoming across every sport we tested:

- College football: full markets on Mountain West including all Wyoming Cowboys games
- NBA and NCAAB: quarter-by-quarter live betting, MVP futures year-round
- UFC: round-by-round in-fight, method of victory, go-the-distance

Payments

PayPal is the fastest for both deposits and withdrawals, in our testing, PayPal cashouts averaged 6 hours; ACH averaged 36 hours. See our payments guide for the full list.
Responsible gaming
Deposit limits, wager limits, loss limits, and session time-outs are all configurable from the Responsible Gaming menu (two taps from the main account screen). Wyoming residents can also request self-exclusion via the Wyoming Gaming Commission; DraftKings honors the state list.
Bottom line
If you're opening one sportsbook in Wyoming, this is it. Deepest markets, best app, longest operating history in the state, and a welcome offer with minimal fine print. Pair with FanDuel if you want sharper NFL pricing on sides, or with BetMGM if you prefer the bigger first-bet-loss protection.
