What is live betting?

Live betting (also called in-play, in-game, or running betting) is the ability to place wagers while the game is in progress. The book updates odds continuously based on the score, time remaining, possession, and momentum, sometimes every few seconds. • Public bettors overreact to recent events. A turnover or scoring run moves the live line further than the actual probability change warrants. Sharp money fades the overreaction.
